The Commercial Banking Team Leader responsibilities include:
- Manages, develops and maintains the overall
portfolio.
- Develop and implement a business plan and marketing strategy that targets middle market borrowers located in the Baltimore metropolitan market.
- Generate loans, deposits and fee income in accordance with new business goals.
- Analyze financial data and underwrite and structure loan requests in accordance with Bank policies.
- Participate in credit approval process by presenting loans for approval, as well as supporting loans for approval presented by other team members to the required level of authority and/or
appropriate Loan Committee.
- Complete annual employee performance evaluations and salary increase recommendations.
- Actively participate, develop, coordinate all industry related seminars, events and sponsorships as well as entertainment of customers and prospects.
Requirements include:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of commercial lending experience.
- Previous management experience and
demonstrated leadership ability.
- Demonstrated recent and historical new business development track record.
- Direct knowledge of credit and non-credit bank services and products.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work within a high production work environment within tight time frames.
- Bachelors degree; MBA preferred.
